SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. Optic coherence tomography-angiography is performed on the CIRRUS HD-OCT instrument using the Angiography program to diagnose optic nerve drums (DZN). DZN region is selected as a circle with a diameter of 6×6 mm and the analysis of tomographic scans is carried out. If rounded and oval cystic hyporeflective formations with a hyperreflective capsule are identified, they are colored in gray of different intensity, then the DZN druses are diagnosed.

EFFECT: method increases the informative value and reliability of the diagnosis of the drusen of the optic nerve, and also reduces the complexity of the diagnosis and shortens the examination time.
