FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for differential diagnostics of optic nerve head (ONH) drusen and congestive optic nerve (ON) discs. Perfusion density is measured in three topographic zones of ONH: central (Central), internal (Inner) and temporal quadrant of external zone (Outer temporalis) by method of optical coherent tomography of angiography by protocol Angiography Analysis: Angiography 6X6 mm. Based on the obtained data, the ONH perfusion coefficient is calculated by formula: ONH perfusion coefficient = (Perfusion Density Inner – Perfusion Density Central) / Perfusion Density Inner × 100. If the ONH perfusion coefficient is 16.3 to 22.3, the perfusion density of the central area is 0.398 to 0.428, the density of perfusion of the temporal quadrant of the external area is 0.435 to 0.455, ONH drusen are diagnosed. If the ONH perfusion coefficient is 29.5 to 34.5, the central perfusion density is 0.332–0.360, the density of perfusion of the temporal quadrant of the external area is 0.404 to 0.434, the stagnant ON discs are diagnosed.
EFFECT: method provides differential diagnosis of ONH drusen and congestive ON discs by evaluating perfusion density in the ONH region.
