FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for differential diagnosis of initial choroid melanoma, progressive and stationary nevus of choroid by means of optical coherent tomography with angiographic mode. That is ensured by evaluating angioarchitectonics of the choroid in the tumor region by means of optical coherent tomography with angiographic conditions. If there are tumor vessels, hyperreflectivity and heterogeneity of choriocapillaries, the initial choroidal melanoma is diagnosed. In the absence of tumor vessels, presence of hyperreflectivity and homogeneity of choriocapillaries, a progressing choroid nevus is diagnosed. If there are no tumor vessels, presence of isoreflectivity and homogeneity of choriocapillaries, a stationary nevus of the choroid is diagnosed.
EFFECT: invention provides more accurate differential diagnosis of initial choroidal melanoma, stationary and progressing choroid nevus, regardless of the degree of pigmentation and the presence of exudate, with the possibility of selecting an adequate approach to organ-preserving treatment, especially in small new growths.
