FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely to Fe-Ni alloys with low thermal expansion coefficient, and can be used in the welded assemblies manufacturing, in which dimensional stability with temperature change is required. Iron-based alloy containing, in wt.%: 35 ≤ Ni ≤ 37, trace amounts ≤ Mn ≤ 0.6, trace amounts ≤ C ≤ 0.07, trace amounts ≤ Si ≤ 0.35, trace amounts ≤ Cr ≤ 0.5, trace amounts ≤ Co ≤ 0.5, trace amounts ≤ P ≤ 0.01, trace amounts ≤ Mo < 0.5, trace amounts ≤ S ≤ 0.0035, trace amounts ≤ O ≤ 0.0025, 0.0003 < Ca ≤ 0.0015, 0.0005 < Mg ≤ 0.0035, 0.0020 < Al ≤ 0.0085, rest is iron and impurities. Disclosed is the iron-based alloy cold-rolled strip producing method, welding wire from the iron-based alloy manufacturing method and the iron based alloy use as a material for vessels and pipes for the liquefied gas transportation.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by high weldability, and made using the iron-based alloy welded assemblies are characterized by the high degree of dimensional stability.
