SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire extinguishing compositions intended for various types and intensities forest fires extinguishing. Universal fire-extinguishing composition contains, mass%: alkyl sulfates of linear and non-linear fatty alcohols 25-30, wetting agents of the group of oxyethylated fatty alcohols 7-15, a mixture of sugars and dextrins 25-30, diammonium phosphate 13-15, urea 5-7, sulfonol 0.5-1.5 and water - the rest.
EFFECT: composition combines both wetting, foaming and fire retarding properties and can be used as solutions of various concentrations and/or foams to create barrier and supporting strips, including long-term supporting strips, in the fight against top and strong grass-roots forest fires, the direct quenching of underground (peat, litter-humus) fires, as well as grass-roots forest fires of weak and moderate intensity.
