SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used to assess the risk of cardiovascular diseases with associated pathology. Current parameters of assessable disease in a patient and similar pre-determined parameters in healthy volunteers are recorded. For the diagnosed type of disease, weight factors for each parameter are pre-determined using known average values of parameters in patients with said disease and average values of these parameters of healthy volunteers. Standard deviations of parameters for a group of volunteers are also determined. Sum of the weight factors for the disease under study is calculated. Upper and lower limits of the norm for each parameter are determined. Risk index (RI) of the diagnosed disease is calculated according to the claimed formula. If the RI value is less than 100, the risk of the disease is assessed as low. If the RI value is in the range from 100 to 249, the risk of the disease is assessed as increased. If the RI value is more than 250, the risk of the disease is assessed as high.

EFFECT: method provides reliable assessment of risk of cardiovascular diseases with associated pathology due to the assessment of a complex of significant parameters.
