FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing coatings on block foam glass. Method includes application the glaze powder to the front surface of the block foam glass, melting it, feeding the powder with a powder feeder into the plasma torch of the plasmatron, plasma spraying of the glaze onto the front surface of the block foam glass and quality control. Plasma spraying is performed with simultaneous melting of the front surface of the block foam glass at a power of a plasmatron of 6 kW, the velocity of the plasma torch is 0.15 m/s and the glaze powder consumption is 1.75–2.00 g/s.
EFFECT: technical result of the proposed invention is speeding up the process of obtaining a coating on block foam glass, improving the quality of the coating.
