SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fuel injection control device and to a method for controlling fuel injection for an internal combustion engine. Result is achieved by the fact that the fuel injection control device controls the injection of fuel for direct injection into the cylinder of an internal combustion engine with spark ignition, comprising a cooling channel on the side of the head that cools the cylinder head, a cooling channel on the block side, which cools the cylinder block, and a cooling device independently controlling the circulation of the cooling liquid in the cooling channel on the side of the head and circulating in the cooling channel on the side of the block. Fuel injection control device is provided with a means for specifying a fuel injection timing for specifying a fuel injection timing for cooling the inside of the cylinder, as the closing timing of the intake air valve, during the occurrence of a decrease in the gas temperature within the cylinder due to the latent heat of vaporization of the injected fuel, during the circulation of the cooling liquid into the cooling channel on the side of the head with the stopped circulation of the cooling liquid in the cooling channel on the block side, and the fuel injection control unit injects fuel based on the fuel injection timing to cool the inside of the cylinder.
EFFECT: technical result is the implementation of fuel injection control, which allows more reliable suppression of detonation.
