SUBSTANCE: invention discloses methods and systems for adjusting the moment of ignition of an internal combustion engine depending on a shifting force of a piston responsive to pressure. In one example, the engine may comprise a pressure-responsive piston with an upper wall shifted away from the base of the piston by gas pressure enclosed within the base. Moment of ignition of the combustion chamber containing the piston is adjusted depending on estimated displacement force of gas on the upper wall.
EFFECT: invention discloses a method of controlling engine operation parameter (versions) and a corresponding system.
