SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and is intended for ameliorating, reducing or treating presbyopia. Ophthalmic composition for ameliorating, reducing or treating presbyopia contains an effective amount of pilocarpine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, phenylephrine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and naphazoline or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. In this case, phenylephrine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is present in an amount of 0.5% to 3% by weight, pilocarpine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is from 0.1% to 0.7% by weight and naphazolin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is from 0.001% to 0.020% by weight. Additionally, said formulation comprises an antihistamine and a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. For ameliorating, reducing or treating presbyopia, said ophthalmic composition is administered in an effective amount to a patient's eye.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions provides effective treatment of conditions that adversely affect the visual acuity of a patient, such as presbyopia.
