FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used to control electric motor. Motor control device includes initiation-stop determination means 11 that receives initiation-stop request signal to control initiation or stopping of motor 5, and information on rotational speed of electric motor 5 and which outputs status signal for switching state of excitation voltage between three control stop states, initiation of direction and start of control; excitation voltage controller 12 that gradually increases phase current supplied to motor 5 by using PWM signal while state signal causes state of excitation voltage to transition from control stop state to control initiation state and then to control start state.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of phase current emissions when PWM control resumes and suppresses torque fluctuations.
