SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of biotechnology, specifically to the field of biosensors with metal nanoparticles as signal transduction system. Biosensor for visual detection of an analyte comprises a recognition molecule capable of recognizing the target analyte, immobilized on a thermosensitive surface, and a metal nanoparticle having surface plasmon band, functionalised with a second recognition molecule capable of recognizing the target analyte or other recognition molecules. Analyte is visually detected by the colour change in the support areas where the analyte is present, produced as a result of the heat generated by the metal nanoparticles where they are irradiated with an external light source with a wavelength in the range from 380 nm to 1100 nm. Methods for the detection of analytes and use of the biosensor for analyzing various objects are also disclosed.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides analysis of multiple samples in a single assay with a limit of sensitivity in the picogram.
