SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a system for controlling positions of a support and a cable of an electric parking brake (EPB). According to the version of the present invention, the system for controlling the positions of the caliper and the EPB rope comprises: drive motor of actuator used for engagement and disengagement of parking brake EPB-system; electronic control module for motor control; and a vehicle battery for supplying power to the motor and the electronic control module, wherein the electronic control module includes a pulsation measurement unit for measuring motor pulsation by receiving an output motor signal and a current measurement unit for measuring change in the motor excitation current.
EFFECT: providing a system for controlling positions of a caliper and an EPB brake without separate provision of a magnet and a Hall sensor.
