FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electronic parking brake (EPB) technology, and more specifically to a detection device and a detection method for detecting a speed of an antenna-free EPB motor other than a conventional EPB electric motor equipped with a built-in sensor. Detection device for detection of number of revolutions of senseless motor includes: an actuating motor drive motor used to drive and release the parking brake of the EPB system; electronic control module for electric motor control; vehicle battery for power supply to electric motor and electronic control module and main processing unit for receiving output signal of electronic control module and estimating speed of electric motor, wherein the electronic control module further comprises a pulsation measurement unit for receiving the output signal of the electric motor and measuring the electric motor pulsation.
EFFECT: detection of rpm of electric motor, which controls operation of EPB-actuator, without provision of magnet and Hall sensor separately.
