SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a mobile device for detecting light emitted from a light source. Result is achieved by mobile device (300) including photodetector (320) formed at the end of socket barrel (114) of an audio jack socket in the mobile device. Socket barrel serves to collimate the light onto the photodetector.
EFFECT: technical result is to enable the mobile device to function as a remote control device for "indication and control".
