FIELD: veterinary science; virology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary virology, namely, to molecular diagnostics. Oligonucleotide primers and a fluorescently-labelled probe were developed to amplify and detect a fragment of the P32 gene of capripoxviruses: CaPV_f_new – 5' ATGAAACCAATGGATGGGATA 3'; CaPV_R_new – 5' CGAAATGAAAAACGGTATATGGA 3'; CaPV_probe – 5' ATGAGCCATCCATTTTCCAA 3'. Method for detecting the genome of capripoxviruses using primers and a probe and a real-time PCR test system are also proposed. For carrying out PCR-RV, amplification of a fragment of the P32 protein gene is used. Highly sensitive kit consisting of a ready-made PCR mixture, Taq-DNA polymerase, positive control and negative control was developed, which makes it possible to identify the genome of capripoxviruses as soon as possible.

EFFECT: invention can be used in veterinary medicine, clinical and laboratory diagnostics to detect the DNA of capripoxviruses in samples of a wide range of pathological and biomaterial.
