SUBSTANCE: method for isolation and identification of bacteria of the complex Acinetobacter calcoaceticus – Acinetobacter baumannii provides for sowing of the test material on a selective synthetic medium containing L-phenylalanine, trimethoprim, dimethylsulfoxide, NaCI, Na2SO4, KH2PO4, K2HPO4, MgSO4, agar microbiological and distilled water in predetermined ratio components. Carry out incubation under aerobic conditions at 35 °C for 18–24 hours followed by identification of the bacteria of the desired complex by the characteristic features of the bacterial colonies.

EFFECT: invention allows to increase sensitivity and specificity of the study on the isolation and identification of bacteria in the complex Acinetobacter calcoaceticus – Acinetobacter baumannii.
