FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to pediatrics and pulmonology, and can be used for bronchial asthma diagnosis in children aged 2–17 years with persistent and chronic cough. For this purpose, during initial treatment, computer bronchophonography with the determination of an acoustic component of the work of breathing in high-frequency range (φ3) is performed in a patient. Compliance with the conditions of hypoallergenic life (HA) is further determined. Computer capillaroscopy of the nail bed is also performed to determine the length of perivascular zone (L) and the irregularity of capillary caliber (Nkc). Power of low-frequency (LF) and high-frequency (HF) spectrum of the heart rate variability component is determined. Diagnostic coefficient calculated for cough in bronchial asthma (D1) is further determined, as a classification value of the discriminant equation by formula: D1=C1+a1×HA+a2×b+a3×Nkc+a4×φ3+a5×LF+a6×HP. Diagnostic coefficient calculated for cough in other diseases (D2) is then determined, as a classification value of the discriminant equation by formula: D2=C2+b1×HA+b2×L+b3×Nkc+b4×φ3+b5×LF+b6×HF. Calculated values of diagnostic coefficients (D1 and D2) are further compared, and if D1>D2, then bronchial asthma is diagnosed in this patient.
EFFECT: method provides the most accurate diagnosis of said pathology in children older than 7 years due to the comprehensive study of interrelated indicators.
