METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF RISK OF BRONCHIAL ASTHMA DEVELOPMENT IN CHILDREN 7 YEARS OLD AND UNDER WITH A BURNED ALLERGOLOGICAL HISTORY Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B5/08

Abstract RU 2789970 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to pediatrics, pulmonology and allergology, and can be used to predict the risk of developing bronchial asthma in children 7 years of age and younger. With the help of computerized capillaroscopy of the nail bed, the parameters of capillary blood flow velocity, the diameter of the venular part of the capillary, and the density of the capillary network per unit area are determined. Then, a second measurement is carried out after a provocative occlusive test with the installation of a pressure cuff of the tonometer on the right forearm for 1 minute, air is injected into the cuff up to 180 mmHg of the column. And with an increase in the diameter of the venular part of the capillaries from 57.8 microns or more, a decrease in the rate of capillary blood flow to 540 microns/s or less, an increase in the number of functioning capillaries per unit area from 93 caps/mm2 or more, the formation of bronchial asthma is predicted within 5 years.

EFFECT: method allows to simplify and improve the accuracy of forecasting the risk of developing bronchial asthma in children aged 7 years and younger with a aggravated allergic history by increasing the objectivity and information content of the parameters of microcirculatory disorders using the computer capillaroscopy of the nail bed.
