FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to pediatrics and pulmonology. Differential diagnostics of chronic cough of infectious and allergic genesis is carried out for respiratory diseases of the upper respiratory tract in children of 2 to 17 years old. At primary treatment in the patient determine: the presence of a rise in body temperature above 37.5 °C, increased cough during exercise, the length of the perivascular zone and the coefficient of tortuosity of the arterial part of the capillary with capillaroscopy; the standard deviation from the mean value of the cardio intervals, in the analysis of heart rate variability, the serum level of the total immunoglobulin is determined. Then, calculate the diagnostic coefficient calculated for the cough of infectious genesis in upper respiratory tract disease, as the classification value of the discriminant equation by mathematical formulas. Then the calculated values of the diagnostic coefficients of the two mathematical formulas are compared and the cough of infectious genesis or cough of allergic genesis is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to improve the accuracy of differential diagnostics of chronic cough of infectious and allergic genesis in respiratory diseases of the upper respiratory tract in children of 2 to 17 years old due to the definition of informative clinical scores.
