Method includes determining pulse and non-pulse optical density of the joint in points located on the anterior surface of knee joint 1 cm lateral and medial to the base of patella and 2 cm lateral and medial to the apex of the patella before and 12 days after the beginning of treatment. If the pulse optical density increases by more than 2.72 mm and the non-pulse optical density decreases by more than 1.33 mm, the treatment is successful.

EFFECT: method enables increasing the accuracy of evaluating the effectiveness of treating arthrosis of the knee joint by evaluating a combination of the most important parameters.
