SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, can be used in treating ruptures of collateral ligaments of knee joint and their defects after pyoinflammatory diseases of ligamentous apparatus. Blood serum is centrifuged to obtain a transparent hemolysate with subsequent introduction of the biomaterial into the area of collateral ligament rupture above and below the injury zone to stimulate regenerative processes in tissues. During the period of treatment, patients are given in combination metabolic angioprotectors, group B vitamins, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, centrally acting muscle relaxants, electrophoresis with hydrocortisone in the area of the injured ligament projection, to stimulate the growth of connective tissue cells, after that, local pulse and non-pulse optical density is measured before and after treatment, at which increase of pulse optical density by more than 0.89 mm, and decrease of non-pulse optical density by more than 0.47 mm, treatment of collateral ligament rupture is effective.

EFFECT: method provides more effective treatment of rupture of collateral ligaments of knee joint by means of complex conservative treatment and measurement of local pulse and non-pulse optical density.
