SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely, to rheumatology, traumatology, surgery, ultrasound diagnostics, and can be used in evaluating the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis with medicinal products. For this purpose, topical monitoring of the lateral recess of the knee joint and the synovial membranes is performed. The effectiveness of treatment of rheumatoid arthritis is determined by the variability of the state of the lateral and medial recesses, i.e., the thickness of the synovial membranes, the number of vascular loci, the optical density. If the thickness of the synovial membranes decreases by 1 mm or more, the number of vascular loci decreases by 5 or less, and the range of the non-pulse optical density increases by 0.06 or more after administration of medicinal products at intervals of 5 hours on the first day, the treatment is considered effective. If the non-pulse optical density is 0.4 and higher and the amplitude of the pulse optical density is increased by 8.45 mm or more, the number of vascular loci is 5 or more, and the thickness of the synovial membranes is 5 mm or more, the treatment is considered ineffective.

EFFECT: method provides most accurate evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment of rheumatoid arthritis due to the selection of optimal evaluation parameters.
