SUBSTANCE: confectionery product, for example chewing gum sheets, is transported from the cooling station by the first and second conveying devices via a collecting device to a packing station or sheet counting station when said station operates and does not operate. Collecting device collects a confectionery product, when the cooling station operates, and the packing station or sheet counting station does not operate. Collecting device is arranged to place a collected confectionery product on the conveying device when the packing station or sheet counting station operates. Collected confectionery product placed on the conveying device is mixed with a confectionery delivered from the cooling station. During the placement of a collected confectionery product on the conveying device, the speed of the second conveying device exceeds the speed of the first conveying device.
EFFECT: production efficiency is increased due to collecting a confectionery product when stations or production processes are stopped.
