CHLAMYDIA DIAGNOSIS METHOD Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC C12Q1/68

Abstract RU 2662940 C1

FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: method of selecting a clinical material from the cervix to detect dysplasia of the cervix epithelium and conduct its immunohistochemical studies with the detection of diagnostic signs of chlamydia. Clinical material is additionally selected from the uterine cavity, while the clinical materials are operatively fixed for immunocytochemistry. After that, drug obtained from the cervix is brought into contact with primary antibodies to the Ki-67 protein, evaluate the activity of this antigen in preparations, by size of which the chronic or acute form of chlamydiosis is established with activity indices, respectively, 2.4 + 0.09 or 5.9 + 0.25. At the rates of its activity corresponding to the intermediate values between the named, it is concluded that there is no chlamydia in the cervix of the uterus and thereafter, the activity of the proliferating nuclear Ki-67 nuclear antigen is evaluated in preparations derived from a material taken from the uterine cavity, by the size of which the chronic or acute form of chlamydia is established at activity indices of 1.3 + 0.09 or 3.9 + 0.25, respectively.

EFFECT: expansion of the diagnostic spectrum, including the detection of the timing of infection, the possibility of differential diagnosis of processes in the epithelium and the absence of clinical symptoms, with which the pathological state of the mucosa is associated, with infection or malignization, with a refinement of the strategy of surgical interventions related to removing or leaving and how much to remove; this allows using the claimed method in gynecology, obstetrics, dermatovenereology and forensic examination not only in the age group of postmenopausal women, but also in the case of an unfavorable outcome of pregnancy and fetal pregnancy, predicting the pathology of the newborn.
