FIELD: medicine, diagnostics, gynecology.
SUBSTANCE: serial sections of uterine cervix' mucosa in women with papilloma-viral infection should be studied due to immunohistochemical method: they should be treated according to streptavidin-biotin peroxidase method to be incubated with antibodies to antigen of the nuclei of proliferating cells - PCNA and to the inhibitor of apoptosis BCL-2. One should detect mitotic index, apoptosis index (AI), index of label PCNA (IL PCNA) and index of label BCL-2 (IL BCL-2), after that it is important to calculate correlative index of proliferation (CIP) according to the following formula: CIP=Mitotic index × IL PCNA × IL BCL - 2/AI. If in patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia degree I CIP value is above 114.0 one should conclude upon high possibility for transition of the disease into the stage of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia degree II, and if CIP value is above 208.0 one should state upon high possibility of the disease transition into the stage of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia degree III or the development of oncological pathology of uterine cervix.
EFFECT: application of the present method enables to fulfill earlier diagnostics of the further tumor growth and correct individual therapy.
