FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of oil refining, in particular to a method for obtaining oil medium temperature binders and treating pitches, and can be used in petrochemical and oil refining industry. Method consists of stages of thermo-polycondensation of fraction of pyrolysis at a temperature of 360–390 °C and a pressure of 1.0–2.5 MPa in flow reactor and subsequent isothermal withstanding of reaction mass with distillation of low molecular weight components in reactor-separator. In this case, as resin fraction of pyrolysis is used fraction with initial boiling point 230 °C. Further, during the passage of thermo-polycondensation of raw materials in flow reactor, a nonoxidizing agent-overheated water vapor is excluded, and the process of isothermal withstanding of reaction mass, accompanied by thermo-polycondensation and off-spec cut of low molecular weight components, is carried out in reactor-separator at a temperature of 320–380 °C, at pressure of 0.1–0.2 MPa for 6–10 hours and bubble with a dry hydrocarbon gas at gas flow rate of 0.01–0.02 kg/h per 1 kg of soft pitch.

EFFECT: technical result is to obtain and increase the output of above mentioned pitches, improve economic and environmental factors of the process, as well as to simplify the process.
