SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of biotechnology, specifically to long acting agonist analogue receptors like calcitonin receptor (CLR) and receptor activity modifying proteins (RAMPs). Invention allows the preparation of an adrenomedullin or intermedin peptide conjugate with an organic fatty acid having a prolonged half-life in vivo and capable of exerting an antihypertensive and cardioprotective effect on endothelial cells.
EFFECT: resulting conjugate or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is used as part of a pharmaceutical composition for lowering blood pressure in peripheral blood vessels in an individual.
