FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pipe bend manufacturing methods by means of the material machining. Pipe bend is manufactured in two stages. First cutting stage includes the inner side surface formation in the roughly formed pipe bend by contained in the cutting tool and formed from the spherical shape part the cutting section relative movement, along the processed pipe bend central line in the direction from the roughly formed pipe bend first end surface to the second end surface. Subsequent stage involves the cutting section movement along the processed pipe bend central line in the direction from the roughly formed pipe bend second end surface to the first end surface. At that, the cutting section has diameter equal to the processed pipe bend inner diameter.
EFFECT: methods allow to produce the pipe bend with high speed and higher precision without the uncut parts appearance.
