FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the aluminum-scandium-based alloys production method, and can be used in the aerospace industry, in particular, for the fuselage components manufacturing by welding. Aluminum-scandium-based alloy particles production method of aluminum and scandium chloride involves the scandium chloride particles reduction, having the average particle size of less than 200 mcm, in the presence of aluminum particles with the average size in one dimension of less than 50 mcm by the direct solid-phase reaction in the reaction zone under the reaction conditions providing the aluminum-scandium-based alloy production at the minimum temperature of 160oC and maximum temperature of 600 to 1000oC, resulting in the aluminum-scandium alloy and aluminum chloride-based particles production as the by-product.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at the aluminum-scandium alloy production method simplification and improving its characteristics.
