FIELD: basic elements of electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: photoelectric conversion device comprising a first photoelectric conversion portion, which is a photodiode and is configured to generate electrons; and a second photoelectric conversion portion, which is a second photodiode and is configured to generate holes. Photoelectric conversion device further comprises: a charge-to-voltage conversion portion including an n-type first semiconductor region configured to collect the generated electrons, and a p-type second semiconductor region configured to collect holes, the charge-to-voltage conversion portion being configured to convert a charge that is based on the electrons and the holes to a voltage; a signal generation portion configured to generate a signal corresponding to the voltage, the signal generation portion including an amplification transistor; a first potential supply portion configured to apply a first potential to the anode of the first photodiode; and a second potential supply portion configured to supply a second potential to the cathode of the second photodiode, the second potential being higher than the first potential.
EFFECT: invention provides a device capable of improving the accuracy of signals generated on the basis of electrons and holes.
