FIELD: rail vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: technical solution refers to vehicle derailment control devices. Vehicle is capable of moving along a path that contains an electrical contact rail for supplying electricity to the vehicle over the ground, Rail includes several electrical circuits, each electrical circuit being connected to an electrical switching element. Vehicle includes a derailment control device and means for generating a control signal for controlling electrical switching elements connected to electrical circuits located in parallel with the vehicle to close said electrical circuit. Control device includes means for detecting a derailment of the vehicle and a processing means connected to the detection means and the forming means. Processing means is configured to deactivate the forming means to inhibit the generation of a control signal causing the circuits to open in parallel with the vehicle.

EFFECT: increased safety of road users and the reliability of the detection of vehicle derailment are achieved.
