SUBSTANCE: plurality of objects detected by the plurality of sensors are subject to determination as to whether or not objects are identical to each other. If there is an object in the set of objects for which the position of the object becomes undetectable after the time when the set of objects detected by the plurality of sensors, are defined as an identical object, a determination is made as to whether the continuously detected object is an object identical to the object in the previous processing, based on the predicted range computed from the previously detected object position for the object becoming undetectable and based on the presence range estimated from the object position for the continuously detected object.
