FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing a preparation for processing fruit and vegetable products with an increased content of 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) by passing gaseous 1-MCP through an aqueous buffer solution of alpha-cyclodextrin (ACD) with the subsequent filtration of the precipitated precipitate and its drying. Method is characterized in that the gaseous 1-MCP is fed through a spray gun made of an inert porous material, aqueous buffer solution of the alpha-cyclodextrin further comprises a chelating agent (CA) selected from the group: nitrilotrimethylphosphonic acid (NTFP), or ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, or the disodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, or the tetrasodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, or any mixture thereof at a 1-MCP:ACD:CA molar ratio of 1:1.1–1.3:0.01–0.1, and gaseous 1-methylcyclopropene is obtained by heating and evaporating the condensed liquid 1-MCP, and the process of uptake of 1-MCP by alpha-cyclodextrin is carried out in a vertical bubble column with a stirrer in turbulent mode with a Reynolds criterion exceeding 10,000 with a controlled feed rate of gaseous 1-MCP by controlling the heating rate of liquid 1-MCP.

EFFECT: method allows to obtain the desired product with a main substance content of up to 4 1/5 wt%.
