SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. Power plant comprising one or more free piston engines, including a working cylinder, with a piston in it, one end cooperating with the combustion chamber, and the other with a damper chamber, a crank piston power take-off mechanism kinematically connected to an electric generator, the crank piston mechanism according to the invention is located outside the working cylinder and is connected with the damper chamber by a pipeline, which has the ability to vary its length and make swinging movements.
EFFECT: invention provides increased efficiency of electricity generation.
