FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to medicine. Methods of immobilizing an active agent to a substrate surface are proposed. Proposed substrate comprises a layer of a primer compound including a compound bound to the said layer selected from the group consisting of gallic acid, gallamide, 5-methylbenzene-1,2,3-triol, 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzaldehyde, 2,3,4-trihydroxybenzaldehyde, gallacetophenone, 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzamide, 2,3,4-trihydroxybenzoic acid, 5-hydroxydopamine hydrochloride, methylgallate, pyrogallol, their salts and combinations. Medical device containing the aforementioned substrate is proposed.
EFFECT: proposed group of inventions provides effective means and methods for hemodialysis and other applications involving contacting physiological fluids, such as blood, or tissues and a medical device or a medical device component.
