FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry. Device for forming a two-layer cellular model on a porous membrane of a Transwell culture insert is proposed. Device includes a plate with a through hole for hermetic placement of the Transwell in it, where the thickness of the plate enables the Transwell's membrane to be located inside the hole, dividing the cavity of the hole into two parts. And one part is designed directly for placing Transwell, and the second part is designed to accommodate the environment with cells. Besides the second part of the cavity has an inlet with a diameter of up to 3 mm for the supply of cells and / or medium, that excludes, due to surface tension forces, pouring out the medium when the plate is turned over.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the processability of the process of forming a two-layer cellular model and conducting subsequent studies of the formed cellular model.
