FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and relates to a microfluidic device for studying the effect of chemicals on mammalian cells, which is a chip with a microfluidic system placed in it. In this case, the microfluidic system is made in the form of four identical independent closed circuits for the circulation of the nutrient medium, each of which includes micropumps combined with microfluidic channels, a cell, a damping element and a technological opening. Damping element is designed as a damping chamber with an elastic membrane that communicates from above with the atmosphere, and from below – with a nutrient medium, and microfluidic channels at the junction with the damping element have a rounded extension.
EFFECT: invention provides a reduction in the time spent on research when implementing in vitro cultivation conditions as close as possible to physiological ones.
