FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used in aircraft engine building and power turbine construction for hardening of the working blades of a gas turbine engine compressor or a gas turbine unit made of high-alloy steels or nickel-base alloys. Method of ion-bombardment treatment of compressor blades from high-alloy steels and nickel-base alloys involves the placement of blades on the product holder inside a working chamber of a vacuum chamber, rotation of the blades in the holder around their own axis while moving them relatively to the implant due to the rotation of the article holder around its own axis and ion-implant treatment of the blade surface with nitrogen ions with cyclic passage of the blades through the implantation zone until the complete processing of the blades is completed, followed by cooling of the blades together with the working chamber of the unit to normal temperature. Ion-bombardment treatment of the blade surface is performed at the energy of 20 to 35 keV, a dose of 1.6⋅1017 cm-2 up to 2.3⋅1017 cm-2, and for each cycle of blade passage through the implantation zone, it is rotated about its own axis at an angle of 220 to 280 degrees. Each subsequent entry of the blade into the implantation zone is performed with a phase shift of its rotation about its own axis 10–20 degrees from the angle of its previous entrance into the implantation zone.
EFFECT: increase in the performance characteristics of parts, namely the limit of endurance and cyclic durability is provided.
