FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for hardening the GTE compressor monowheel working blades made of titanium alloys and can be used in aircraft engine building and power turbine engineering. Method includes installing a monowheel on the holder shaft, placing it inside the vacuum unit when one of the machined blades of the monowheel is located in the working area of an implant. After this, ion-implantation treatment of the monowheel blades is performed. In the process of implantation, the monowheel is rotated around the axis passing through the radial axis of the current processed monowheel blade and the center of the monowheel and intersecting the direction of flow of the implanted ions. Then the monowheel is rotated around its longitudinal axis by one step to enter the next blade into the implantation zone and repeat the indicated cycle until the complete treatment of all monowheel blades. When rotating the monowheel around the axis passing through the radial axis of the current machined blade of the monowheel and the monowheel center, the swinging motion of the monowheel in the plane is performed, passing through its longitudinal axis and the aforementioned radial axis of the blade to be machined by an angle that ensures the processing of the entire working surface of the current blade. Ion-implantation treatment of the blade surface is carried out with nitrogen ions at the energy of from 16 to 30 keV, dose of 1.6⋅1017 up to 1.9⋅1017 ion/cm2.
EFFECT: treatment of the entire working surface of the current blade is provided.
