FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for controlling the supply of a continuous elongate element during tire assembly. Technical result is achieved by a method for controlling the supply of a continuous elongate element during the tire assembly process, which includes placing a continuous elongate member along a zigzag path formed by a plurality of rollers on which a continuous elongated member is partially wound; then advancing the continuous elongate member in the feeding direction along the zigzag path; maintaining the longitudinal tension in the continuous elongate element downstream from the first rollers of the plurality of rollers with a smaller or equal longitudinal tension downstream to the first rollers, by providing rotation of the first rollers in the direction according to the feeding direction; and feeding a continuous elongated element near the workstation for tire assembly.
EFFECT: maintaining a constant tension of the continuous elongated element and increasing the productivity of the tire assembly process.
