SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a control device for an internal combustion engine in which fuel is injected directly into the combustion chamber. Result is achieved by providing a first fuel injection valve configured to directly inject fuel into the combustion chamber. When the predetermined fuel cut-off condition is satisfied, the fuel cut off is performed due to which the fuel injection by the first fuel injection valve is stopped. When the predetermined fuel cut-off recovery condition is met during the fuel cut-off, the fuel injection for the first fuel injection valve is restarted. When the fuel reinjection is started after the fuel cut-off, the pressure of the fuel supplied to the first fuel injection valve is increased, so that it exceeds the fuel pressure in the normal state, determined in accordance with the state of propulsion. Due to this, it is possible to stimulate the spraying and evaporation of the jet when the fuel reinjection is started.
EFFECT: technical result is the suppression of the volume of the exhausted particles in the exhaust pipe and decrease in the number of exhausted particles in the exhaust pipe.
