FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: combustion engine (1) includes fuel injection valve (8) for injection into cylinder and fuel injection valve (9) for injection into inlet port. Ratio of injection volume of valves is controlled in accordance with the state of engine’s activation. When fuel supply is restored after fuel cut-off, ratio of injection fuel volume to cylinders is adjusted so that, that it decreases for a predetermined period, which is determined from fuel cut-off time or wall temperature of combustion chamber when fuel supply after cut-off is restored. Increase in solid particles is suppressed by reducing the ratio of injection volume to injection into cylinder when fuel supply after cutoff is restored, after which wall temperature of combustion chamber is reduced.
EFFECT: invention can be used in fuel management systems for internal combustion engines.
