FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a solar collector for temporarily storing heat obtained at any time from solar radiation. Solar collector 1 for temporarily storing the heat obtained from solar radiation comprises radiation conductor 8, 9, optical means 7 for concentrating solar radiation at the first end of the radiation conductor. At the opposite second end of radiation conductor 8, 9, heat-insulated core 2 is provided, heated by the solar radiation emitted from the radiation conductor and temporarily storing the heat. For this purpose, the core is provided with heat-insulating shell 4, actually completely surrounding the core and containing a layer of porous ceramic material.

EFFECT: reduction of heat losses.
