FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymorphic form I of 2-amino-N-[2-(3a-(R)-benzyl-2-methyl-3-oxo-2,3,3a,4,6,7-hexahydro-pyrazolo[4,3-c]pyridin-5-yl)-1-(R)-benzyloxymethyl-2-oxo-ethyl]isobutyramide L-tartrate. Polymorphic form I is characterised by an X-ray powder diffraction pattern (PXRD) obtained by irradiation with Cu-Kalpha (Cu-Ka) radiation, having main peaks at 2-Thetao 4.4, 10.2, 12.5, 13.2, 13.7, 16.4, 16.6, 18.5, 19.3 and 21.7 +/-0.2. Pharmaceutical composition, the use of polymorphic form I, a method for treating painful conditions mediated by the activity of ghrelin receptors, and a method for producing polymorphic form I are also disclosed.
EFFECT: polymorphic form I has low hygroscopicity and excellent stability.
