SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an acoustic metamaterial comprising cells for digital processing of an input audio wave signal and for generating a corresponding response audio wave signal as a function of the frequency and phase of the input audio wave signal to generate a common response audio wave signal, which, when combined with an input audio wave signal, modifies the input audio wave signal.
EFFECT: claimed invention provides suppression of external noises produced by vehicles using only lightweight and high-strength materials.
