FIELD: vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: vehicle motion control device contains the power steering device (50) turning the vehicle (1) wheel (5F), variable-ratio steering device (30) capable of the steering angle (21) ratio and the steering angle for the wheel (5F) changing, and control device (10), performing the autonomous motion control, which controls the vehicle (1) autonomous motion. Autonomous motion control contains: the steering control steering target angle calculation processing, which calculates the steering target angle for the wheel (5F); steering control, which drives the electric power steering device (50) for the wheel (5F) turning so, that the wheel (5F) steering angle becomes the steering target angle; and the steering angle control (21), which actuates, on the basis of the steering target angle, steering device (30) with the variable gear ratio in such direction, that to suppress the change in the steering angle (21) caused by the steering control. Also proposed is the vehicle autonomous movement control method.

EFFECT: enabling the creation of technology, which facilitates the steering wheel grip for the driver during the vehicle autonomous movement.
