FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for reinforcing a metal coating in layered laser synthesis. Pre-apply reinforcing filler in the form of filaments on the deposited surface of the substrate with subsequent laser deposition of filler material. In this case, the threads of the reinforcing filler are laid with a pitch equal to 15–20 diameters of the used yarn, and the width of scanning of the laser beam is set equal to 50–100 diameters of the reinforcing filler filament.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the preparation of a fused coating with anisotropic properties.
