FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the xenon tetrafluoride production technology, used in medicine as a disinfectant, in the xenon oxygen compounds synthesis. For the xenon tetrafluoride production, supplying the fluorine at a pressure of 20 atm to the pre-evacuated nickel or stainless steel reaction vessel. Then supplying the xenon to a total pressure of 27–28 atm. Holding the xenon and fluorine mixture for at least 35 minutes for complete mixing. Then igniting the mixture using heated by the current pulse to 650–700 °C combustion initiator. Performing the xenon in fluorine burning reaction with the target product production.
EFFECT: invention allows to obtain the XeF4 in one stage, increase the productivity and product yield.
