FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas and exploration industries, and is intended for the column head turndown and turnup. Column heads turndown device has a base with four concentric holes and a cylindrical wall. Base is connected to the column head flange with bolts or studs with nuts. In the base central hole a bushing is coaxially and fixedly mounted, which ends protrude on the base both sides. At the bushing side wall lower end the upward expanding conical wall is made. To the bushing upper end a pipe section is coaxially welded, at the upper end having an external conical thread, onto which a coupling with a corresponding thread is screwed in to attach the device to the elevator. Base rotation drive is the suspended hydraulic wrench for the drilling and tubing pipes screwing and unscrewing.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the device design simplification.
